Professional Continuing Education Scheme (PCES)

The PCES caters for the development of new professional continuing training courses that contribute to design capability building and nurturing of talents as well as appreciation and understanding of design by industry.

Eligible Applicant

Local academic institutes, industry support organisations, trade and industry associations, professional bodies, research institutes and companies are eligible to apply.

The applicant will be required to secure industrial/commercial sponsorship to the project. The sponsorship must come from party or parties, which are not related to the applicant in terms of ownership or management, for the project. Such sponsorship can either be in cash or in kind and should cover at least 10% of the total project cost.

Form of Funding Support

Funding support is normally given as a grant (up to 90% of the total approved project cost).

The grant will be disbursed by instalments.

Application

Applications for the PCES are welcomed throughout the year.
